Norwich Township maintains a public cemetery for the use of township residents and their families. The cemetery is managed by the Township Cemetery Manager under the direction of the Township Board.

Single and family burial lots are available for purchase by township residents and their immediate families. Contact the Cemetery Manager for current availability and pricing.
The Cemetery Manager coordinates with funeral homes to schedule interments. Please contact the Cemetery Manager as early as possible to confirm scheduling.
Records of lot ownership and burials are maintained by the Township Clerk. Requests for burial records may be submitted in writing or by email.
The township maintains the cemetery grounds on a regular schedule. Seasonal maintenance includes mowing, trimming, and general upkeep.

All burials must be scheduled in advance through the Cemetery Manager.
Lot owners are responsible for the care of individual monuments and markers on their lots.
Flowers, flags, and decorations are permitted on individual lots. The township reserves the right to remove items that interfere with grounds maintenance.
Vehicles must remain on designated roadways within the cemetery.
The cemetery is open to visitors during daylight hours.
Any questions regarding lot boundaries, monument placement, or other matters should be directed to the Cemetery Manager.
Burial records are public records maintained by the Township Clerk. To request a record, contact the Clerk by phone or email with the name of the deceased and approximate year of burial. Records may also be requested in writing under the Michigan Freedom of Information Act.
