The Hungerford Cemetery is located at the corner of Cypress and Hungerford Lake Drive, one mile north of the Norwich Township Hall.
If you need a document notarized, contact Stacie Langworthy to make an appointment. This service is provided at no charge.
The Township Board members do not hold their office at the Township Hall. Individual appointments may be arranged by contacting the Supervisor, Clerk, or Treasurer.
Residential garbage and recycling collection is provided by a private hauler. Contact Newaygo County for information on recycling drop-off locations and household hazardous waste disposal.
Township roads are maintained by the Newaygo County Road Commission. For road concerns — potholes, drainage, signage — contact the Road Commission at 231-689-6682.
The Newaygo County Household Hazardous Annual Waste Collection will be held (date TBD), 8am–Noon at the Road Commission Building, 935 E 1 Mile Rd, White Cloud. Tires WILL NOT be accepted.
Board of Public WorksThe Township's Annual Clean-up is held on the second Saturday of June and is for residents only.
Items NOT allowed: Tires, dead animals, hazardous materials, oil, paint, tree stumps, yard waste, propane tanks, concrete, batteries, household trash, chemicals, appliances containing Freon.
